 Big breaking news right now government has announced that it has banned 118 more chinese apps which includes pubg and this is a press release that we're just getting right now it's a press release from the ministry of electronics and information technology which reads that government has blocked 118 mobile apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of india defense of india security of state and public order this comes after over 50 apps were in fact banned by the government of india a couple of months back as well and we have aishwarya joining us on the phone line to give us more details about this big decision taken by the government of India

minister of electronics and information technology government of india invoking its power under sector uh vega pardon under section 69 a of the information technology act has just recorded has just recorded 118 more apps which include pubg which include chess rush which include ludo world ludo superstar which include dawn of isles which include game of sultans which include dark tanks so all of these are very very popular apps and all of them have been banned and once again once again what has been cited is the sovereignty of india what has been cited is very very clearly the fact that these are apps which are against the security of india and then the electronics and information technology act has been invoked making one thing very clear that government of india is not going to allow let there be no doubt about it that government of india is not going to allow these kind of malicious apps these kind of malicious apps to continue the pubg mobile not pick map has also been uh has been
